Reflecting in the essay genre, managers learn to formulate and structure their own thoughts, find new meanings in business activity and develop a crucial ability of abstract and strategic thinking.
Rethinking one's own managerial experience in this way is a part of the value component that business school propose to participants and graduates during the programs and the Essay Days mini-festival as well.
For the third year, kmbs and PEN Ukraine invite Ukrainian and foreign authors to discuss the features and development of the essay genre, its role in cultural, artistic, historical, business and media contexts. The participants are invited to become co-creators of this discussion.
The key event of the mini-festival is the awarding of the Yurii Shevelov Prize winner.
Yurii Shevelov, a prominent Ukrainian writer and literary critic, was the originator of modern Ukrainian essays.
On December 17, on the day of the writer’s birthday, Oleksandr Savruk awarded this year's prize winner Taras Liutyi during a ceremony at kmbs.
Although the Essay Days 2020 have come to an end, new authorial experiments and discoveries are ahead, and we will traditionally talk about them in December next year.
You can watch all the lectures of the mini-festival on the kmbs Youtube channel.
