The meeting was hosted by Yevhen Pentsak, kmbs professor, MBAF program manager, MBA and mid-term programs lecturer.
According to Yevhen, analytical tools that are common today allow integrating all the data available in a company and providing real-time answers to almost any question about the current state of the business or development prospects.
"From time to time, business founders have to ask themselves: how well did each business line work? Do I know how its capitalization has grown? Maybe the capitalization of some areas is falling?" says Yevhen Pentsak.
But if it is not a corporation but a medium-sized business, should the company spend resources on analytics? According to Yevhen Pentsak, smaller businesses may have more risks under different circumstances: "We draw the following analogy: when there is a market shock, smaller boat companies do not have good navigation compared to large corporate ships. Accordingly, it is much harder for them to weather the storm."
We are grateful to the panelists and everyone who participated and look forward to seeing you at the next event!
